Our story

[Opening: your grandmother's name, where she's from, and what she's like. A detail or two your family loves to talk about.]

[What her days are like, the things she loves, and the people around her.]

[When she began to need help at home, and what that's been like for your family.]

[A moment or memory with her aides that has stayed with you.]

[What your mother has learned through that experience.]

[Why that led your family to start Loving Touch, and what you want to do the same, or differently, for other families.]

What we believe

A few things we hold ourselves to, in every home we go into.

  • We match caregivers by personality, not just by who's available.

We ask about your loved one's routines, what they enjoy, and what they're particular about, and we look for someone they'll be glad to see.

  • You'll see the same familiar faces.

We keep the same caregiver with your family whenever we can, so the person you're caring for isn't opening the door to someone new every week.

  • We treat your loved one's home with respect.

It's their house, their kitchen, and their way of doing things. Our caregivers follow their lead.

  • We keep you in the loop.

Whether you live down the street or out of state, you'll hear from us when something changes, and you can always call to ask how the week went.

  • Our nurse checks in regularly.

Our registered nurse visits to see how things are going and updates the care plan as your loved one's needs change.

  • We respect each person's culture, faith, language, and routines.

Favorite foods, holidays, prayers, the language they're most comfortable in, and the way they like their mornings to go. We ask, we listen, and we make room for what matters to them.
