The people who will be caring for your loved one.

Our caregivers are the heart of what we do. They're patient, warm, and good at the small things that make someone feel at home in their own home.

On this page you can meet a few of them, see how we choose the people we hire, and learn what to expect before the first day of care.

Photo needed: our caregivers together, relaxed and smiling, outdoors or in a bright room. Warm afternoon light.

Every caregiver is trained, certified, and supervised by our nurse.

Everyone who cares for your loved one is either a Home Health Aide (HHA) or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Both have been trained to help with personal care, like bathing, dressing, and getting around safely.

Our registered nurse supervises their work, oversees each care plan, and checks in regularly, so there's always someone with nursing experience looking out for your loved one.

  • HHAHome Health Aide
  • CNACertified Nursing Assistant

How we choose our caregivers

We're careful about who we bring into your loved one's home. Here's what's true of every caregiver who works with us.

Photo needed: our nurse and a caregiver talking together over a care plan, friendly and unhurried.

  • They're an HHA or a CNA.

Every caregiver comes to us already trained as a Home Health Aide or a Certified Nursing Assistant.

  • They work for us.

Our caregivers are our own employees. We know them, and they know how we like to care for people.

  • They've passed a Level 2 background screening.

This is a fingerprint-based screening done through the State of Florida, and every caregiver completes it before working with a family.

  • We've checked their references.

We talk with people who have worked with them before, so we have a good sense of who they are.

  • We train them ourselves.

Before they start, we teach them how we do things at Loving Touch. [What our training covers.]

  • Our nurse supervises their work.

Our registered nurse oversees each care plan, checks in regularly, and is there for our caregivers whenever they have a question.

Our promise to you

You meet your caregiver before day one.

Before the first day of care, you and your loved one meet the caregiver we've matched. If it doesn't feel right, just tell us, and we'll find someone who is.

Have a question about our caregivers?

We're happy to tell you more. Choose whichever way feels easiest.
