Everyday help at home, from someone who gets to know your loved one.

Our care is the ordinary, important help that makes a day go well: a warm shower and fresh clothes, a good lunch, a tidy kitchen, a ride to the doctor, and someone to talk to over coffee.

We work around your loved one's routines and the way they like things done. Whether it's a few afternoons a week or care around the clock, the goal is the same: helping them stay safe, comfortable, and themselves at home.

Bathing, dressing & grooming

Help in the shower or bath, choosing clothes, brushing hair, shaving, and getting ready for the day. We go at your loved one's pace and give them as much privacy and independence as they'd like, helping only with the parts that have gotten harder.

Meals

Planning the week's meals together, shopping for them, and cooking the dishes your loved one actually enjoys, including the family recipes. We follow any diet their doctor has recommended, and we sit down to eat together so no one has to eat alone.

Light housekeeping & laundry

Washing up after meals, changing the bed, keeping the laundry going, taking out the trash, and keeping walkways clear. The house stays comfortable and easy to move around in, and it's done the way your loved one likes it.

Errands, groceries & rides to appointments

Picking up groceries and prescriptions, and getting to the doctor, the hairdresser, church or temple, or lunch with a friend. We can go along to appointments, help keep track of what the doctor said, and make sure they get home safely.

Companionship

Conversation over coffee, a walk around the block, a game of cards, a favorite show, or help with a hobby. For many people, having someone to talk to and laugh with is the part of the day they look forward to most.

Help after a hospital stay

Coming home from the hospital or rehab can be tiring, and the first few weeks matter. We help your loved one settle back in, with meals, getting around the house safely, and rides to follow-up appointments, for as long as the extra help is needed.

Memory care support

For someone living with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory loss, a calm, familiar person and a steady routine can make each day feel easier. We keep the same caregivers with your family whenever we can, and we follow the rhythms and small comforts that help your loved one feel at ease.

Overnight & 24-hour care

Someone there through the night, to help with getting up safely or simply to be close by, or care around the clock when that's what's needed. Everyone in the house can rest a little easier. [How overnight and 24-hour care is arranged.]

Comfort alongside hospice

Hospice teams visit at set times, and many families want someone there in between. We offer companionship and personal care that works together with the hospice nurses and staff, so your loved one has a familiar, comforting presence at home.

Respite care

If you're the one caring for your loved one most days, you need rest too. We can step in for an afternoon, a weekend, or longer, so you can see a doctor, visit friends, travel, or simply sleep, knowing they're in good hands.

  • Whoever you're caring for, we'd be glad to help.

Families come to us for all kinds of reasons. Here are a few of the people we care for.

  • Photo needed: an older woman or man at home with a caregiver, sharing coffee or looking through a photo album.

An aging parent or grandparent who wants to stay at home

We help with the everyday things that have gotten harder, so home can stay home.

  • Photo needed: an older couple together at home, relaxed, holding hands or laughing.

A husband, wife, or partner, so you don't have to do it all alone

We can share the load with you, whether that's a few afternoons a week or help through the night.

  • Photo needed: a younger adult at home or out in the neighborhood with a caregiver, doing something they enjoy.

An adult living with a disability who wants more independence

We help with the parts of the day they'd like a hand with, and follow their lead on the rest.

  • Photo needed: a caregiver helping someone settle into a favorite chair at home, a bag or flowers nearby.

Someone coming home from the hospital or rehab who needs extra help for a while

We help them settle back in, with meals, getting around safely, and rides to follow-up appointments.

  • Photo needed: a caregiver and a client doing something calm together, like folding laundry, gardening, or a puzzle.

Someone living with Alzheimer's or memory loss

A calm, familiar person and a steady routine can make each day feel a little easier.

  • Photo needed: a caregiver sitting close beside someone resting at home, holding their hand or reading aloud. Soft light.

Someone on hospice who'd like a familiar, comforting presence alongside their hospice team

  • Photo needed: a client at home smiling at a video call with family on a tablet, a caregiver beside them.

Families who live far away and want someone they trust close by

We're there in person and keep you up to date, so you always know how things are going.

How care works

We keep things simple, and we shape the care around your family rather than the other way around.

  • Visits are at least 4 hours.

That gives your caregiver time to settle in, get to know your loved one, and help without rushing from one task to the next.

  • A few days a week, or around the clock.

Some families start with a few afternoons a week. Others need overnight or 24-hour care. We can change the schedule as things change.

  • A care plan built with you, overseen by our nurse.

We put the plan together with you and your loved one. Our registered nurse oversees it, checks in regularly, and updates it when needs change.

  • You meet your caregiver first.

Before the first day of care, you and your loved one meet the caregiver we've matched. If it doesn't feel right, just tell us, and we'll find someone who is.

What we don't do

We're a non-skilled home care agency. That means we focus on personal care and everyday support, and our caregivers don't do medical tasks like injections, wound care, or nursing care.

If your loved one needs that kind of care, we're glad to work alongside the home health agency or nurse who provides it. And if you're not sure what kind of help your family needs, we'll gladly talk it through with you.

Wondering whether we can help? Let's talk.

You don't need to have everything figured out. Choose whichever way feels easiest.
